As a passionate homeschool parent, I am excited to invite you to the Homeschool 101 event! If you want to explore homeschooling or seek guidance on this rewarding journey, this event is just for you. On April 14, 2025, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Rushville, Indiana, we will cover everything you need to start or enhance your homeschooling experience.

What to Expect at Homeschool 101
The Homeschool 101 event is a fantastic chance to meet fellow homeschooling families and like-minded individuals. Sharing experiences enriches our community, and learning from one another can be invaluable.
First you will get to meet the 2 women behind the scenes of Rush County Homeschoolers and see what they are all about and what this awesome homeschool group has to offer!
Then, the main highlight of the event is our guest speaker, Amy Bragdon, a dedicated representative from the Indiana Association of Home Educators (IAHE). With vast knowledge and experience, Amy will guide us through the many aspects of homeschooling.
Engaging Activities and Networking Opportunities
The Homeschool 101 event includes engaging activities to promote networking. One of these activities is our 50/50 raffle, adding a fun twist to the day. For just $1 for one ticket, $5 for six tickets, or $20 for an arm’s length, you can participate in this exciting draw while helping support our local homeschool community. (cash only for the raffle tickets)
Additionally, we will provide lunch in the church basement—there will be a hotdog, bag of chips or fruit snacks, and a bottle of water—all for only $3 (plus processing fee for card users). This casual setting will allow you to connect with other homeschool families, share experiences, and foster new friendships.
